Portal for easy and economical management of its own Data Center in COMING cloud.
About the portal
vCloud portal gives you the ability to manage and organize your own virtual datacenter on a cloud infrastructure. The intuitive user interface further simplifies the creation, monitoring and shutdown of virtual machines according to needs.
Secure completely manageable, reliable and technologically advanced for your business
infrastructure without deadlock. vCloud portal is based on VMware’s vCloud Director solution, which relies on the VMware vSphere platform and the VMware NSX Virtualization solution for the network.
Through the vCloud portal you have a clear overview of the resources assigned to your own virtual datacenter and their exploitation. You have the option to redistribute resources (RAM, CPU, HDD) as desired or need, added and subtracted, in accordance with a pre-arranged consumption model.
vCloud portal provides you with autonomy in managing virtual datacenter and facilitates administration and daily work.
You can access the console of your virtual servers, but also control the launch, shutdown, or restart of the server, and create a snapshot. For each virtual server, there is a possibility to review the load of its resources, but also many other information such as, for example, activated alarms.
With vCloud, you can organize and manage network infrastructure within your virtual datacenter. Create firewall rules at the level of virtual servers, network segments, and arbitrarily defined security groups. Additionally, you can advertise your own services on the Internet independently with the appropriate configuration of VPN for the needs of remote access to its virtual datacenter. Work safely and securely online.
There are also templates with pre-installed operating systems of different versions (Windows, different Linux distributions), as well as templates with additional packages (eg LAMP), which can be used to quickly create new virtual servers. Additionally, there is also the option of uploading an installation file and creating a virtual server with any of the supported operating systems. *
Choose an operating system tailored to your everyday work and platform that you normally use for business. Choose the operating system that was expensive for your business through other procurement models.
In addition to the graphical interface, the vCloud portal is also available through the RESTful API, enabling a higher level of automation and integration with internally developed applications. So, business services in the cloud can integrate with your other services and become an integral part of your business system.
How does the vCloud portal look for the end user?
A demo environment is created for users who would like to try out vCloud portal first hand.
Sign up for the demo through the contact form at the bottom of this page.
Can I independently manage my network in cloud?
Yes. The user can create firewall rules at the level of virtual servers, network segments, and arbitrarily defined security groups. Additionally, the user can independently advertise their services on the Internet, as well as configure VPNs for remote security access to their virtual datacenter. See how this looks in the demo environment, sign up for the demo through the contact form at the bottom of this page.
As a developer, what does the vCloud portal offer me?
vCloud portal allows the development of applications in Linux / UNIX and Windows environments.
Users have preloaded pre-installed operating systems of different versions (Windows, different Linux distributions), as well as templates with additional packages (eg LAMP), which can be used to quickly create new virtual servers. Additionally, the user can upload the installation file and from it create a virtual server from any of the supported operating systems.
Managing a virtual cloud data center
Creating separate networks within the datacenter allows separation of test and production environments, as well as environments of different development teams. Full autonomy over the virtual datacenter in Devops team clauses makes it easier to work daily and apply CI / CD access within organizations.
Possibility of integration
In addition to the graphical interface, this solution is also available through the RESTful API, which enables automation of operations and integration with internally developed applications.
*Which operating systems are supported on the infrastructure?
The vCloud portal is based on the vCloud Director solution, based on the vSphere platform that is currently on version 6.5 U1. When planning an installation, the user should have in mind the supported OS version of VMware. Supported OS versions can be found on the following link:
